Hardware (Instruments and Effects) • Novation SL49MK3 compatible ableton 12 ?

I'm thinking about buying a novation SL49MK3 for dirt cheap and I have ableton 11 but possible I'm getting ableton 12 is there something I should know?
I know that is a ableton controller
