It could be nice to be able to vary each step of a Steps modulator during the course of a piece. I'm exploring the recent Euclidian Note Grid beat generator from Polarity although not using random values for the steps. Of course, it can go up to what, 64 steps, but the high number shouldn't discourage a remote assignment for all practical non random purposes, up to 16 or so.
I'll forward this FR to Bitwig if no-one here comes up with a good idea on how to achieve the same in Bitwig 5.1 as it is today. Cheers.
