Bitwig • shared external drive for 2 Bitwig installations?

Hi all,

I had an idea and maybe somebody has experience or better ideas:
- I want to try Linux in general, Bitwig of course too
- 1 Linux machine, 1 Windows machine
- put projects, libraries, packages, sounds content on a single external USB4 SSD drive
- use the drive with the respective active computer, no matter if Windows or Linux
- syncs not needed, libraries etc. only installed one time instead of twice.

Stupid idea or might that work?
Maybe one of you already has tried and can share experiences?
